Manage projects for and with our community of Artists, Curators & Partners (through Virtual Projects, Events and Print Products)

We’re looking for someone passionate about the arts and visual culture with an emphasis on contemporary photography.

Are you interested in managing projects for and with our community of artists, curators & partners through virtual projects, events and print products? Are you interested in learning about the internal operations of a young non-profit with an artistic and cultural mission? Do you value a flexible work environment with a positive and upbeat atmosphere? Are you highly structured, exceptionally organized, self-motivated, and a clear communicator with quick comprehension? What to expect:

• You plan and manage projects individually and successfully across the organization: virtual projects, events, print products, etc.
• You oversee our monthly online exhibition Guest Room and assist our invited curators/gallerists/editors in every aspect of the project
• You supervise and edit our weekly online Artist Features & Blogs (both images and texts), and you interact with related artist inquiries
• You work closely with our team and ensure content is delivered to our community, collaborators, and partners in a timely and comprehensive manner
• You’re knowledgeable of, or ready to familiarize yourself independently with our daily project management tools: Slack, Notion, Picter (Workspace), etc.
• You co-ordinate media and brand partnerships & plan content accordingly
• You are being involved with the processes of sponsorship acquisition and fundraising of a cultural non-profit organization

• Internship, working student position, or (freelance) part-time position with min. 20 hours weekly, start in December/January and limited until August 31, 2025, with the option to negotiate a more long-term collaboration afterwards (TBD)

About Der Greif

Der Greif is run by a team of curators, visual artists, photographers and cultural entrepreneurs.

We are an organization for contemporary photography with a unique approach, reaching a global audience. Based on crowd-sourcing, we bring together diverse voices in our work and create platforms and visibility.

We collaborate with artists, institutions and our audience – on- and offline. We are interested in image-contexts and their influence on the impact images can have. **We combine print products, events, exhibitions and use digital platforms and strategies.
